“How To Tune 808’s in Logic Pro X”

In tis video KC explains how to pitch/tune an 808 sample so that it is in key with your beat or song that you’re producing.

1. Open up EXS24

2. Hit “edit”

3. Drag and drop the sample in the piano roll

4. Hit “x” and “save” it

5. Insert a Tuner plug in (you’ll find this in “metering”)

6. Play a note on your keyboard, the Tuner will tell you pitch the 808 is

7. Use the “Tune” knob on the EXS24 and tune the 808 to the exact note you’re playing on the keyboard
